Don't be fooled by the "to miss" small exterior of this place in downtown. It is GOOD. Their polish sausage is fantastic and burgers quality. Recommended.
I came here 1 time and had their fire ass cheeseburger and delicious fries! So tonight I brought my best friend from out of town to have it here in Koreatown! We got one of the DAWGS and the cheese burger and again fire! The service was awesome! The owner was there to answer question about the food and the employee Diana who took our order was so great! Also the chef Manuel was so great also! This is my spot! And I live around the corner! By the way the sauces are damn delicious!
Since the TV show Bear all I've heard about is Chicago Italian beef. This sandwich is basically a French dip with different gravy and peppers.This place asks whether you wish hot or sweet peppers. I ordered it baptized meaning dipped.The sandwich was filling, tasty. Unlike the beef I was acquainted with Chicago hot dogs and the one here was terrific hence the four stars.The beef sandwich alone would rate 3 stars. Parking free for 30 min. Rest rooms appeared unavailable to the public A real negative to me
This place is cool. They have great service, and the look of the place is simple. Parking is on the street. Prices are good and the food is fresh. I hope they make it.
I saw this joint while I was in a bus along 6th Street in Ktown LA. I was running errands so I waited til I was done with 'em. Just a few steps from historic Chapman Market on the westbound 6th between Catalina and Kenmore is this seemingly out of place Chicago style hotdog joint. Small place but well worth exploring. I ordered the Italian sausage with fries and an iced tea since I was avoiding soda. I know right?..You're already eating bad food, why not get the bad drink (Pepsi) to go with it? lol.. My sandwich was so good with the crisp sausage and fresh crunchy toppings of tomato, quarter pickle, relish and sport peppers. Fries were cooked right, not greasy or soggy with great seasoning. The owner is a great guy and they gave me my drink on the house since it was my first visit. This family run place is truly a gem. I will be back for sure. Check it out when you're tired of all the Korean/Asian food, or even if you're not and just happen to be in LA.
What We Ordered - Juicy J's Original Cheese Burger with Double Patty - Fries - Cup of Chili Juicy J's has been on my "To Try" list since my boyfriend and I moved to Koreatown. We pass by it on our nightly walks but haven't gotten around to trying it out until today. I wished we went here sooner because it is SOOO GOOD! Probably the best burger we've had in the area. Everything in this burger was good! Normally the meat is dry or the sauce is a bit off when you go to a hole in the wall plate. Will definitely be back!
